Technical Sales Engineer

HydroScientific West is a systems integration company focusing on the irrigation and water/wastewater industries using SCADA technology. In addition we represent a number of environmental instrumentation principles that are outstanding in the development and manufacturing of precision instruments. Many of these instruments are influential in our SCADA integration work.
The engineer will be based on the West Coast (preferably in the San Diego area) and will be responsible for the direct technical sales of the instrumentation and SCADA services, and, developing our business in the water/wastewater industry.
Responsibilities Include:
- Advancing HydroScientific West sales efforts of current customers
- Developing new customers within the industries we serve
- Developing a comprehensive Marketing plan
- Managing the sale from first contact to delivery
The Successful Candidate will possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial, civil, or electrical engineering or significant combined experience.
- Minimum 5 years in a sales capacity
- A sound technical aptitude for SCADA and environmental instrumentation, data acquisition and control is a plus.
- Strong demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and consult to potential clients
