As a member of our firm, you would contribute to our team by:
  • Coordinating various technical aspects of project work
  • Receiving technical guidance on unusual or complex problems
  • Acting as a mentor to junior level employees
  • Potentially supervising the work of engineers who are assisting on assigned tasks
  • Participating to a limited degree in new business development
  • Establishing and monitoring budgets to assess profitability
  • Creating ISA-standard P&IDs
  • Evaluating and specifying performance criteria and installation and configuration requirements for process controllers and communication equipment including PLCs and HMIs, network switches and firewall appliances, media converters, and data radios
  • Evaluating, inspecting, testing, and specifying performance criteria, bill of material, methods of construction, and installation of control panels
  • Writing detailed control logic descriptions and programming requirements to meet the design intent of water and wastewater treatment processes and industrial applications
  • Troubleshooting instrumentation and control system performance issues
  • Preparing written operations and maintenance manuals for instrumentation and control systems
  • 5 years of experience with Bachelor’s degree and/or Master's degree in specialty field: such as electrical, computer, or industrial  engineering
  • Ability to perform system integration of control systems to include programming of PLC and HMI packages, configuration of network server; workstations and switches; configuration of wireless radio systems; development of operational reports, etc.
  • Preference toward experience with municipal water and waste water systems and design
  • EIT Certification Preferred or the ability to obtain it within 18 months
  • Ability to travel to project sites 10-20% of the time
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in written form with a diverse team that may be geographically dispersed.
